Resources by State & Territory
Open the jurisdiction where you work or intend to work.
New South Wales (NSW)
If your work involves same-day alcohol delivery in NSW, RSA may not be the only training required. NSW also has Responsible Supply of Alcohol Training (RSAT) requirements for relevant delivery workers.
Victoria
Queensland
Business Queensland also provides short online RSA learning material for people who want to refresh and test their knowledge.
South Australia
RSA certificates in SA are issued by the training provider, not CBS. Students should first contact the RTO that issued their certificate.
Western Australia
Tasmania
Tasmania has specific rules for employees aged 16 or 17. Whether a young employee can sell or serve liquor depends on the licensed area and supervision arrangements. Students under 18 should read the regulator guidance rather than assume the same rule applies to every venue.
Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
ACT guidance includes procedures for issuing a receipt when identification is seized and sending the seized document to the Commissioner for Fair Trading.
Security employees working at ACT liquor-licensed premises must also hold a current RSA certificate.
Northern Territory
National Qualification Check
Check recognised training organisations and qualification details.
Keep These Records Safe
Your RSA Learning Does Not End When the Course Finishes
Keep your qualification records safe, check regulator requirements when changing states or job roles, complete refresher training when required and use the official links above whenever you need current information.
