REMOVAL FROM PREMISES UNIT

This unit specifies the skills and knowledge required to lawfully and safely remove persons from premises in accordance with workplace procedures, legal requirements, and duty of care obligations.

It involves applying standard operating procedures (SOPs), communication strategies, and use of force principles to manage situations where individuals are required to leave a site due to non-compliance, intoxication, or security risks.

Security officers must use sound judgement, remain professional under pressure, and take action that is lawful, proportionate, and consistent with organisational procedures to maintain safety and order.
